Marathon Race Course information

Marathon Start Loop:

  The Starting line of the event is on Corp Road Adjacent to the Corp Road Trail Head.  The Start loop will follow Corp Rd, Making a Right on to Iron Mt Camp Rd and Then a Right onto Skyline Drive. Riders will follow Skyline Drive to the Upper Mt Trail head at point "J".  The riders will turn right onto the trail at Point "J" the Orange trail.  The start loop continues on Orange for to Point "K". Continue onto Blue to the intersection of the White Trail at Point "N".  Turn right onto white and follow to Point "N" again turn right onto Orange.  About 200 yards after this turn onto orange at Point "N" you will see a sign for "Laps" one way and "to Finish" another.  Thai is the end of your start loop and you are now at the begining of your first of 2 laps of the trail system.

Marathon Main Course:

,  At the "LAP / TO FINISH" Split Sign, Continue on Orange to "J" and Cross Skyline Drive to Point "I"   Follow the Green Trail to Point "E" . Turn Right onto Channel Road and proceed across the Caddo River Bridge and Turn Left onto the Yellow Trail at Point "C".  Follow the Yellow Trail to Point "B".  Turn Right onto Channel Road and Croos the Caddo River bridge.  Continue on Channel Road to Point "E"  turn onto the Green Trail and continue to  Point "I". Cross Skyline Drive and to Point "J" and Continue on Orange.  Proceed on Orange to Point "K". Continue onto Blue to the intersection of the White Trail at Point "N".   Turn right onto white and follow to Point "N" again turn right onto Orange.  At this point you see the "LAP / TO FINISH" split sign.   This is the completion of lap 1.   You will do this Lap a Second time, Upon returning to this location.

Marathon Feed Zones:

  • Feed Zone 1 - Point "A" ( 15 Miles From Start) Adajent To Pont A in he Spillway Trail Head Parking area.
  • Feed Zone 2 - Point "L" (26 miles -  From Start)  Adjacent to Start Finish Area
  • Feed Zone 3 - Point "A" ( 36 Miles From Start) Adajent To Pont A in he Spillway Trail Head Parking area.
1. There will be coolers of water at  the feed zones. Riders will have to stop and fill up their own bottles or have personal support personnel.
2.  Rider will have the ability to Place drop bags at the feed zone. 
3. Your Team staff members are welcome to go to any feed zone to support their riders.
Cross County Race Course Information
 
 
 
 
XC Start loop info:
 The Starting line of the event is on Corp Road Adjacent to the Corp Rad Trail Head Area.  The racers will proceed up Corp road for roughly 1 10th of mile and tun left onto the the orange trail.
XC Main Portion of course:
Cat 3, Clydesdales and Jr's 13-14:   Proceed on Orange to Point "K". Continue onto Blue to the where Orange intersects at Point "N.  Continue onto Orange..  In approximately 100 Yards you will see a "LAP / TO FINISH" split sign.   This is the completion of lap 1.   At the completion of 2 laps you will proceed to the finish.  Course length is rougkly 12 miles.
CAT 1/ 2 and Single Speed:     Proceed on Orange to Point "K". Continue onto Blue to the where Orange intersects at Point "N.  Continue onto Orange..  In approximately 100 Yards you will see a "LAP / TO FINISH" split sign.   This is the completion of lap 1.   At the completion of 3 laps you will proceed to the finish. All CAT 2 and Single Speed racers will do 2 laps.  All CAT 1 and CAT 2 Women and CAT 1 men 50-59 and 60+ will do 2 laps.  CAT 1 Men 15- 49 and open will do 2 laps.    2 Laps = 18 miles. 
Jr 10 and Under and 11-12: Proceed on Orange to Point "K"., take the 12 and under cut off and Crop Rd where you will come to Point "N" Continue onto Orange..  In approximately 100 Yards you will see a "LAP / TO FINISH" split sign.   This is the completion of lap 1.   At the completion of 2 laps you will proceed to the finish.  2 Lap course length = 5.5 miles.
XC Feed Zone for CAT 1, CAT 1/Open, CAT 2 & Single Speed
  • Feed Zone #1 - Point "L"  End of each lap
