The 2008 TriSports.com USAT Halfmax Championship makes its move to the next level!

Ultramax Events, BBSC Endurance Sports, USA Triathlon and this event have partnered to bring you the nation’s most exciting age group championship combination EVER!

The TriSports.com Halfmax National Championship is entering its fourth year and is supported by qualifying events that reach coast-to-coast. We are very proud to have been selected as one of the nation's sixteen Official Qualifying Events.

As a participant in one of the Official Qualifying Events, you have the benefit of being able to qualify for the Championship two different ways. You can finish in the Top 33% of your respective age group, or you can qualify by the established qualifying times (specific for each age group). Only athletes who participate in a Qualifying Event have the opportunity to qualify for the Championship by age-group finish. Review the complete qualifying process* at www.halfmaxchampionship.com.

The Halfmax Championship will feature a minimum of 10 slots per age group for Team USA and the 2009 Long Course Triathlon World Championship.

NEW FOR 2008 - Only athletes who qualify for the Championship (by age-group finish or time) will have the opportunity to compete for the World Championship Slots.

*Athletes who competed in a Qualifying race in August, September, October or November of 2007 are subject to the 2007 OR 2008 qualification standards (qualify by 1: finishing in the top 33% of your age group, or 2: finish within the 2007 established qualifiying times). If you have received an invitation to the 2008 Championship, your qualifying status will not change.
